The Radović Foundation builds bridges between Poland, Serbia and other European countries.

We connect people, schools, universities, parishes and cultural communities. We support education, the exchange of knowledge, the development of young people, the protection of memory and spiritual life. We believe that relations between nations are built through concrete encounters, shared work and respect for tradition.

Our mission comes from the Statute: we carry out socially useful activity in the sphere of public benefit for the community as a whole — in Poland and abroad.

Statutory goals

In accordance with the Foundation’s Statute (§7), our aims include in particular:

1. Education, schooling, science and upbringing

We organise international pupil and student exchanges in the fields of culture, science, spirituality and economic development. We create networks of contacts, alumni networks, mentoring programmes, coaching and career guidance. We organise lectures, study trips and other forms of knowledge exchange among pupils, students and graduates from Poland, Serbia and other countries.

2. International exchanges and contemporary challenges

We run pupil, student and alumni exchange programmes that incorporate digitalisation, sustainable development, digital and energy transition, the green economy and modern social solutions. They serve the exchange of knowledge, experience, technology and good practice between Poland, Serbia and other European countries.

3. Culture and science

We support the development of culture and science through book donations to schools and universities in Poland and Serbia, assistance with publishing and translating books (including religious, historical, literary and specialist literature), and regular support for organisations that create cultural value: publishers, podcasts and educational portals.

4. Media and communication

We create and run websites, portals, podcasts and other media tools that serve the educational, cultural, spiritual and integration goals of the Foundation and of the institutions we support — churches, schools and universities.

5. Social assistance

We carry out charitable and social work, in particular support for older and sick people: care programmes, home help, daily assistance and other forms of care and activation of seniors.

6. Cooperation and resources

We cooperate with public, non-governmental, church and private institutions in Poland and abroad. We raise and allocate financial, material and organisational resources for the realisation of our statutory goals.

7. Diaspora and spiritual life

We support the integration, consolidation and development of the Serbian diaspora in Poland. We build bridges between Poland, Serbia and Europe through cultural, educational, scientific, spiritual and religious activity linked to the Orthodox tradition — including joint liturgies and material and organisational support for churches and parishes.

8. Heritage

We protect, restore and document Serbian cultural heritage in Poland, in particular cemeteries and monuments.

How we pursue our goals

The Foundation operates in the public-benefit spheres defined in Article 4 of the Act on Public Benefit Activity and Volunteering, including:

  • social assistance and equal opportunities,
  • activity for national and ethnic minorities and the integration of foreigners,
  • culture, art and the protection of heritage,
  • science, education, schooling and upbringing,
  • the promotion and protection of human rights and civil liberties, and actions supporting the development of democracy,
  • the promotion and organisation of volunteering.

We pursue our goals through both unpaid and paid public-benefit activity. We may also support other organisations whose work aligns with our aims.

What this means in practice

The Foundation’s mission is not abstract. It can be seen in student exchanges, workshops for university students, book donations, publishing support, a parish website, the Raskršće project, the restoration of places of memory, patronage of educational historical initiatives, and everyday work that brings people together.

The Radović Foundation – we build bridges of knowledge, culture, memory and friendship between Poland and Serbia.
