On Monday, November 3, 2025, the Radović Foundation carried out its first educational action in the Republic of Serbia.
Our founder and representative, Marko Radović, visited his former primary school — “Aleksa Šantić” Primary School in Sečanj. On this occasion, he presented the school with a valuable donation: 41 books for the school library and a high-quality speaker that will enhance teaching and multimedia activities for the students.
We especially highlight the gift of the book “Hodočašće Ilije Ilića” by author Miodrag Ilić, to which special attention was given. The book describes the incredible feat of our great hero from the First World War, who traveled twenty-seven thousand kilometers just to reach the Salonika Front. Such an endeavor shows us not only who we were, but also who we can be.
During the visit, Marko spoke with the students about his educational path, career, and experiences gained in Serbia, Poland, and around the world. He shared important messages about the importance of education, perseverance, and maintaining connections with one’s birthplace.
This donation represents a symbolic beginning of the Radović Foundation’s work in the field in Serbia and directly supports our goal number 3: supporting the development of culture and science through donating books to schools and universities in Serbia and Poland.
We extend our sincere thanks to the school principal Slađana Kravarusić, teacher Nataša Rućando, all teachers and students of “Aleksa Šantić” Primary School for the warm welcome, and we look forward to future joint activities.
